The Sceptic Takeaway from COP 18 Doha. Reason to Rejoice

Lord Christopher Monckton, a former adviser under the late prime minister Margaret Thatcher and vocal skeptic of man-made global warming, was evicted from the U.N.’s climate change summit taking place in Qatar on Thursday.

Monckton “quietly slipped into the seat reserved for the delegation of Myanmar,” and voiced his opinion on the lack of global warming in recent years.
“In the 16 years we have been coming to these conferences, there has been no global warming,” Monckton said, according to E&E Greenwire.
The reporter for the news service, Jean Chemnick, wrote that he was taken from the hall to a “chorus of boos” and had his U.N. credentials stripped. This is confirmed by the U.N. Framework Convention on Climate Change by Twitter.
